The selection of all-inclusive accommodations in Europe is vast. This makes it all the more exciting to take a closer look at the places that stand out: The magazine “Time Out” has once again named the best all-inclusive resorts in Europe this year. TRAVELBOOK presents the winners and highlights what makes them special.
All three main meals, drinks as needed, and often a wide range of entertainment and sports activities–for many, this is what makes a vacation successful. “Time Out” has compiled an editorially curated ranking of the best all-inclusive hotels in Europe. At the top: a resort in Málaga, Spain.
What the Best All-Inclusive Hotel in Europe Offers
Last year, the “Oscar” of the tourism industry, the World Travel Award, went to the Ikos Odisia Resort on Corfu. And this year, a hotel from the chain can celebrate a top placement in another ranking. In the Andalusia region, specifically on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga, the winning resort Ikos Andalusia is located in Estepona.
The area around Estepona offers a mix of beach, nature, and excursion opportunities. Along the coast, there are long sandy beaches and a well-developed promenade. The region is also known for its mild climate–even outside the peak season. Excursions to the old town of Estepona are also recommended, where you can discover winding alleys and typical Andalusian white houses during a stroll.

“Boundless Luxury”
Under the motto “boundless luxury,” Ikos Andalusia welcomes its guests in close proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. The regular rooms and suites are modernly designed, often featuring a balcony or terrace with views of greenery or the sea. Some accommodations also offer private gardens or their own pools. Even more exclusive is the “Deluxe Collection,” which includes particularly spacious suites in prime locations and additional services that go beyond the regular offerings.
The amenities include several pools, a spa and wellness area with a sauna, steam bath, and whirlpool. A fitness center and sports offerings such as tennis or table tennis are also part of the resort. According to “Time Out,” the resort also impresses with menus from Michelin-star chefs, several bars, many included activities, and its direct location on the sandy beach.
“This award is another significant milestone for Ikos and confirms our commitment to redefining travel in the luxury all-inclusive segment,” says Alexander Schneider, COO of the Sani/Ikos Group. “Ikos Andalusia embodies our philosophy of seamless, extraordinary vacation experiences and sets new standards for hospitality in the Mediterranean region.”

Other Top All-Inclusive Hotels in the Ranking
In addition to the TRS Ibiza, an adults-only hotel on the Balearic island, the Regnum The Crown in Antalya, and the Mediterranean Zoëtry Mallorca, a resort from Austria also made it into the ranking: the Alpinresort Sport & Spa Saalbach. The four-star establishment is located in the heart of the Alps and focuses primarily on active vacations–with direct access to ski lifts and hiking trails, as well as offerings like paragliding or canyoning. The offerings are complemented by a spacious wellness area with saunas, indoor and outdoor pools, and various treatments.
While many of the listed establishments are designed as adults-only resorts, the ranking also includes family-friendly all-inclusive hotels. The top spot goes to Creta Maris in the vacation town of Hersonissos on the north coast of Crete. In addition to direct sea access, the resort offers several children’s pools, an open-air cinema, play areas, and a separate adult area.
Also featured in the ranking are the Iberostar Selection Lagos in the Algarve, which “Time Out” says is particularly suitable for budget-conscious families, as well as the Olympic Lagoon Resort Ayia Napa in Cyprus and the Grecotel Corfu Imperial on a private peninsula in northeastern Corfu.
