The Most Expensive Hotels in Mallorca–New Opening at No. 1
A particularly noteworthy addition to the illustrious list is the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the La Punta Negra district; it opened on June 1, 2026. This magnificent property, part of an Asian luxury brand, is located near the exclusive Puerto Portals marina, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Details About the Mandarin Oriental Hotel
The resort, with its more than 130 rooms and suites, features several restaurants and bars–and a spacious spa area. There, “traditional wellness rituals merge with ancient oriental philosophies,” according to the website of the 5-star hotel. From the wellness oasis, guests can directly access one of the two outdoor pools, from which they can see the sea–and they don’t have to stop at just looking. The hotel has its own access to two small coves (Cala Punta Negra and Cala Bella Dona).

Prices
Overnight stays at the Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra start at around 1,700 euros per night in the lowest room category. With a sea view, it costs about 2,000 euros. Suites range from 3,000 to 8,000 euros per night, depending on the category and season. And if money is no object, you can stay in the approximately 221-square-meter Grand Suite Punta Negra for 13,000 euros in grand style.
2. Pleta de Mar, Luxury Hotel by Nature
It continues to be extremely exclusive. The Pleta de Mar, Luxury Hotel by Nature, located in the northeast of the island, is an adults-only boutique hotel. It caters exclusively to adult guests–and in this case, specifically to those seeking absolute tranquility and an intense nature experience. The property has only 30 suites of various categories, which are widely embedded in the coastal landscape. Privacy is therefore ensured.
In terms of architecture, the 5-star hotel relies on clean lines, lots of glass, and natural materials. The interior and exterior spaces blend seamlessly into one another.
Prices
Prices for overnight stays start at around 3,200 euros per night.
3. La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel
La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel in Mallorca, is also among the island’s most expensive hotels. It is located in the picturesque mountain village of Deià on the island’s spectacular west coast, surrounded by a lush landscape of olive groves and the impressive foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains. The hotel complex is spread across several manor houses designed in the traditional Mallorcan style, giving the property the feel of a small Mediterranean village. The hotel also entertains its guests on a cultural level–it regularly hosts art exhibitions and offers creative activities beyond that.

Prices
In the high season, prices for overnight stays range from around 1,000 to 3,000 euros, with top-category accommodations significantly higher.

And not least, the resort is at a high culinary level: One of the hotel restaurants, Es Fum, holds a Michelin star and attracts not only hotel guests.
Located with a view of the Mediterranean Sea in Costa d’en Blanes on the southwest coast of Mallorca, slightly above the coast, the expansive luxury resort has more than 125 spacious rooms and suites spread across four Mediterranean-style buildings.
