The Europa-Park in Rust, Baden, popular even beyond Germany’s borders, has kicked off the new season. Visitors can look forward to several new features in 2026. At the same time, a well-known attraction is facing closure—albeit for a rather spectacular reason. Learn more about it at TRAVELBOOK.
Those who visited Europa-Park last winter already got a preview: In collaboration with the International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo, the park presented the “Winter Circus Revue.” In the new season, even more space will be dedicated to the princely theme…
Monaco Theme World Opens in the New Season at Europa-Park
The new Monaco theme area—the 18th European-themed area at Europa-Park—is among the special highlights of the new season, located around the “Silver Star” roller coaster. The press release particularly highlights an exclusive car exhibition featuring vehicles from Prince Albert II’s collection. Visitors can expect to experience a Mediterranean flair, with the principality’s typical architecture, elegant marinas, and fitting culinary offerings.

The First Café by Food Blogger Sally
Speaking of culinary offerings: With baking expert Sally Özcan, known to many from her mouth-watering YouTube videos, an expert specializing in sweets has teamed up with Europa-Park. Sally’s Café is located in the Icelandic theme area, marking her first café. Guests with a craving for freshly baked cakes are in the right place. There will also be some savory snacks and, of course, various coffee specialties.

Final Season for the Iconic Euro-Mir Roller Coaster
This news might initially disappoint roller coaster fans: The “Euro-Mir” roller coaster (see large photo above) is entering its final season this year. Europa-Park announced this a few days ago in a Facebook post. This is a significant change, as the roller coaster was opened around 29 years ago.
However, it won’t leave a void; rather, something equally spectacular is planned to take its place. To make enough room, Europa-Park plans to slightly reduce the Russian theme area. Last year, park chief Roland Mack told the dpa news agency that they were in talks with the European Space Agency (ESA) for a collaboration. Now, things are becoming more concrete. A new family roller coaster is planned, with the space theme being retained. Therefore, the distinctive towers of Euro-Mir will be part of the new attraction.
For even more fresh entertainment, Europa-Park will feature the new 4D animation “SNORRI 4D.” Additionally, there are new accommodation options in the Western town of Silver Lake City.
Visiting Europa-Park in the New Season Is More Expensive
There’s a lot to see and experience, but this is also reflected in the admission prices. Europa-Park has confirmed to “Merkur” a price increase of about 4 percent. Day tickets for adults (and children and teenagers aged 12 and up) cost between 67 and 76 euros in the new season, depending on whether you visit during the off-peak or peak season. For children between 4 and 11 years old and seniors, it costs between 56.50 and 65 euros.
What smokers should specifically know: New rules apply. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. These are located at the main entrance and in various theme areas and are marked on the printed maps and in the park’s app.
