Flights, hotels, or rental cars–only with luck can you still find real bargains here. This news will likely please travelers even more: Europe is getting a new low-cost airline that will connect Germany with Spain, among other destinations. Flights will start at just 19 euros.

The airline, which will soon connect Santiago de Compostela in Galicia with other destinations in Europe, is called Fly2Galicia. The low-cost airline will begin operations on December 1, 2026. The first domestic flight will be from Santiago de Compostela to Zaragoza. Alicante and Granada are also on the flight schedule. International connections include Munich, Brussels, Prague, Milan, and Venice. According to “aerotelegraph,” almost all routes will be flown twice a week.

Low Prices Within Europe

What’s special are not just the destinations, but especially the prices that the low-cost airline offers within Europe. According to “The Sun,” one-way flights will start at just 19 euros. A look at Fly2Galicia’s booking website shows flights within Spain starting at 21 euros. Connections between Munich and Santiago de Compostela, however, start at 49 euros.

The price always includes at least one personal item and a carry-on bag up to eight kilograms. As with other airlines, extras can be added, such as priority boarding or checked baggage.

What Is Known About Fly2Galicia

Flights can be booked online through October 2027. It has also been announced that an Airbus A320 will be stationed at Santiago de Compostela Airport. This aircraft has a capacity for 150 to 190 passengers.

According to “aerotelegraph,” Fly2Galicia will not operate the flights themselves. The company does not have its own air operator’s certificate, making it a so-called virtual airline. The flights will instead be operated by Flyyo, a brand of a Romanian airline. Fly2Galicia is responsible only for marketing, sales, and route planning.
