Frequent travelers often have a good general knowledge, at least when it comes to the countries they’ve visited. It becomes more challenging when less-visited countries like Chad are questioned–but these are exactly the kinds of questions posed in the new geography quiz. Test your knowledge!
Do you know without hesitation which countries border Uganda? Is the U.S. state where Houston is located a no-brainer for you? And can you list Austria’s largest cities without a second thought? Then this geography quiz is just right for you. The good news is that we provide multiple-choice answers for each question. Yul Oeltze and Sebastian Klussmann, participants in the new show “Who Beats the Geography Pro?”, didn’t have this advantage in their geography quiz.
See how Yul Oeltze fared in the challenging geography quiz in the video above!
We’ve created a quiz inspired by the show’s five rounds. It includes questions from the quick-answer round we posed to Klussmann, the three photo questions, and the six buzzer-round questions. Please note: You have multiple-choice options in this quiz. The show’s participants don’t have this significant advantage. Would you have known the 15 challenging questions? Try your luck!

What Were Cities and Countries Called Before?
If you’ve already played and watched our geography quiz, you know which city was once called Byzantium. This renaming is actually one of the most well-known globally. Less known might be which country was formerly Rhodesia. Also, the city once known as Edo is probably unfamiliar to most under that name today. Even in Germany, there are places that used to have entirely different names. One example is the city “Confluentia.” Do you immediately know which place we’re talking about? Then this quiz is just right for you. Enjoy continuing to puzzle!
