The ZDF Fernsehgarten
The ZDF Fernsehgarten has been broadcast live from Mainz since 1986 and is considered one of the longest-running live open-air entertainment shows on television. In 2014, the show was even included in the Guinness Book of Records.
The show takes place every Sunday from May to September at the ZDF broadcasting center. The live show starts around noon and lasts until about 2:10 p.m., with admission beginning in the morning.
Since 2000, the show has been hosted by Andrea “Kiwi” Kiewel. In addition to musical performances, the program includes acrobatic acts, cooking demonstrations, and segments on fashion, sports, or lifestyle.

Regularly, well-known artists from the Schlager and pop scene perform. Guests include musicians such as Roland Kaiser, Andrea Berg, or Helene Fischer, and international artists are also frequently part of the show.

Organizational Details
You will receive the tickets for the ZDF Fernsehgarten as an e-ticket via email at least seven days before the show. Admission begins around 11 a.m., and the live broadcast runs from about noon to 2:10 p.m.
The venue is located at the ZDF broadcasting center in Mainz-Lerchenberg. Parking is available on-site free of charge, depending on availability. Alternatively, you can reach the Fernsehgarten by bus or tram.
Please note that admission is only possible from age 6, and large bags, backpacks, animals, as well as alcohol or bottles, are not allowed on the premises.
