Many travelers don’t first talk about beaches or landmarks, but about the people they met on site. About the open nature, the helpfulness, the warm welcome–true hospitality. But where in the world do visitors feel especially welcome? Our big voting aims to provide clarity on this. Join in!
At TRAVELBOOK, we’ve reported extensively on countries where hospitality is not just a gesture but a lived culture–from Sri Lanka to South Africa to Costa Rica. But the people in Greece and New Zealand also leave a lasting impression with their unique ways. Since it’s impossible for us to decide alone which country is the most hospitable worldwide, we’ve asked our community on Facebook and Instagram for help.
Vote: Which Is the Most Hospitable Country in the World?
Our over 200,000 followers have shared their personal favorites there. The five countries mentioned above have made it to the final voting. And now it’s your turn! Which of these countries has impressed you the most with its hospitality and warmth? Vote now!
Note on methodology: Voting can be done once per device (computer, smartphone, etc.) for each country. The most hospitable country in the world will be officially awarded in September as part of the TRAVELBOOK AWARD 2025. More information will follow shortly.
