The Indonesian national dish truly pleases everyone! With our recipe for delicious fried rice, nothing can go wrong.

If you’ve been to Indonesia, you’ve likely seen Nasi Goreng on every street corner. “Nasi” means “rice” in Indonesian, and “Goreng” means “fried.” So, it’s fried rice. The difference between Nasi and Bami Goreng is that one dish is based on rice and the other on noodles.

The story of Nasi Goreng begins in Indonesia, where many people live in poverty and often reheat the cooked rice from the previous day instead of throwing it away. Thus, Nasi Goreng became a dish for “poor people.” Those who could afford it added eggs to the dish.

The delicacy is much more than just a cheap filler—and with our recipe, you’ll impress any gourmet!
