Recipe for Sweet and Sour Cauliflower

Ingredients

  • Vegetable broth
  • 50 ML soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • Olive oil

Preparation

  1. Chop the garlic.
  2. Mix 115 ML vegetable broth, 50 ML soy sauce, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon chili flakes, 2 tablespoons tahini, 3 tablespoons rice vinegar, and the chopped garlic in a bowl.
  3. Wash and cut the cauliflower.
  4. Heat olive oil in a pan and add a little water. Then add the cauliflower and let it simmer for about five minutes over medium heat.
  5. Stir in half of the sauce and let it simmer for another five minutes until the sauce is well absorbed.
  6. Stir in 1 1/2 tablespoons of cornstarch.
  7. Add the remaining sauce and let it cook until it reaches the desired consistency.
  8. Serve with rice.
